GEMA is a game by Sonny Lazuardi Hermawan ("we"). We collect only what the game needs to run, to improve it and to show ads that keep it free. We do not sell your personal data.
Stored on your device
Your settings, story progress, Koin and Permata balances, unlocked heroes and looks, and purchase history (such as No Ads) are saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
Playing online
Online play is optional. When you use it, the app connects to our game server and sends:
- the player name you choose (up to 16 characters), shown to other players in your room;
- a random guest token, so you can rejoin your seat after a dropped connection;
- live match data (your unit's movement, aim, shots and score) while the match runs.
Rooms and matches are kept in server memory only while they are active. No account, email address or phone number is required.
Analytics
To improve the game we collect usage events through PostHog, for example: a match or mission started or ended, a shop item viewed or bought, an ad shown, or an online connection error. Each event includes your language and graphics settings, the app version, basic device information (model and OS version) and performance numbers such as load time and frame rate. These events use a random install identifier, are not linked to your name or to any account, and are not used for advertising.
Ads
GEMA shows ads from Google AdMob between matches, and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch. Before any ad is requested:
- where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK), Google's consent form asks for your choices;
- on iPhone, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether ads may use your device's advertising identifier.
If you allow tracking, AdMob may use the advertising identifier to show more relevant ads. If you don't, you still see ads, just non-personalized ones. AdMob collects device and usage data to serve and measure ads; see how Google uses information from apps that use its services. You can change the tracking choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Buying No Ads turns off interstitial ads.
Purchases
In-app purchases are handled by Apple (or Google on Android). We never see your payment details; the app only receives confirmation of which item you bought so it can unlock it.
Children
GEMA is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
You can play entirely offline, decline ad tracking, and delete the app to remove everything stored on your device. To ask about, or ask us to delete, any data related to you, contact us below.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
